A Hamsters health

Checking for health problems in a hamster should be done from time to time. Some early signs are if the hamster is not active or alert, this page is designed to tell you about how to spot hamster health problems.

Body – should show no signs of lumps or bumps.
Coat – groomed well and no sign of bald patches
Eyes – should be bright and clear
Mouth – No sightings of dribbling
Skin – No flaky skin or dry patches
Anus – no sign of faeces which could indicate diarrhoea
